EPD Releases Statement on Crashed White Hyundai Elantra and Moscow Idaho Murders

Eugene, Ore. – A crashed white Hyundai Elantra sits on Seneca Road near W. 7th. This vehicle is the same make and model as the vehicle of interest in the Moscow, Idaho murders Many people in the community have wondered if this crashed vehicle could be related to the Moscow, Idaho murders. A few added facts. This crash happened on the 16th of December around 7am. A very busy time for that street. Fire and police showed up to the crash. You can see the fire/EMS details here. We are being told this was a multi vehicle crash. Update: 7:51am 12/20/2022 – From Eugene Police: “We have no information to indicate it is related to the Moscow, Idaho, case. We sent the vehicle information to Moscow, Idaho, so they have it to review.” ~EPD We reached out to the Eugene Police Department to get a statement about this vehicle.
