Man Arrested for DUII and Other Charges after Driving at Alton Baker

Eugene, Ore. - On November 4, around 5:34 p.m., Central Lane 911 received reports about an intoxicated man driving a car in Alton Baker Park.

The man, later identified as Sean Michael Riemer, age 33, was reported to have struck and damaged other vehicles and tried to start fights.  Then, he left the parking lot as officers were arriving and refused to stop.

Multiple EPD officers pinned his vehicle near the intersection of Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard and Leo Harris Parkway and removed Riemer from his car.

Riemer was transported to Eugene Police Department for continued DUII investigation. While there in a holding cell, Riemer kicked and punched the door and used slurs, while verbally threatening officers and another individual in an adjacent holding cell.

After an investigation, he was transported to Lane County Jail on charges of DUII, Reckless Driving, Hit & Run, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest. Case 23-16691
