Man Arrested After Allegedly Setting His Apartment on Fire




Eugene, Or. - At 2:05 a.m., this morning, Eugene Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of  Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard regarding a man who was reported to have lit a fire inside his apartment.

 Eugene Springfield Fire was also dispatched and extinguished the fire. The man, Edward Paul Slagle, age 59. Officers contacted Slagle and found he had warrants.

Slagle was lodged at the Lane County Jail on the PC charge of Arson in the First Degree and for the warrants
