Baker Spensir Lee Mourey, 26, and Toni Jean Baker, 35, landed shorter sentences in exchange for their  cooperation in the case . Jody and Jacky Allard are accused of leaving Oregon during a child pornography investigation. Officials from the Bethel School District say they feel deeply disappointed with the former Shasta Middle School teacher and his brother. For the past two months the district couldn’t comment on the case, but now officials are speaking out since both Jody and Jacky Allard are in police custody. On March 4, police raided Jody and Jacky Allard’s home on Tarpon Street in Eugene, seizing all electronics. Oregon State Police (OSP) are investigating a Monday evening fatal motorcycle crash in the Veneta area that resulted in the death of an adult male. The victim's name and other information not provided in this preliminary release will be updated Tuesday.  On May 12, 2014 at approximately 6:20 p.m., OSP was notified of a motorcycle crash in the area of Bolton Hill Road and 8th Street in Veneta. The crash resulted in the death of a 29-year old adult male.  OSP troopers from the Springfield and Florence offices are investigating at the scene. Next of kin notification is pending. 

Aaron Lemuel Carpenter Eugene - May 1, 2014 - Officers responded to a disorderly subject who had been removed from the Horsehead Bar around 9:30 p.m. after making threats to stab the bartender and shoot people in the bar. Aaron Lemuel Carpenter, age 36, he attempted to enter another bar in the vicinity and was denied access after telling the doorman about his plans to harm the people inside. When officers arrived, Carpenter resisted arrest, but was eventually placed into custody for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Eleven people were injured, including four seriously, after a van pulling a trailer traveled off the eastbound shoulder of Interstate 84 about eighteen miles west of La Grande a nd rolled down a steep embankment Monday morning. Oregon State Police (OSP) and several local emergency responding agencies responded to the scene and have cleared. OSP is continuing the investigation and driver fatigue may have been a contributing factor in the crash involving members of a Hispanic musical group called "La Estrella" from Dallas, Texas.  According to Lieutenant Mike Turner, on May 12, 2014 at approximately 7:40 a.m., OSP Southern Command Center dispatch was notified that a van pulling a trailer crashed off the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 near milepost 241.
