Deputies Recover and Identify Partial Human Remains




Blue River, Ore. - The Lane County Sheriff’s Office recovered partial human remains. 

The remains have been identified as belonging to Shane Sprenger from Blue River. 

This is still an active investigation and the Sheriff’s Office is requesting anyone with any information to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 541-682-4150.

Suspect Charged with Murder in 590 E. Broadway Shooting

Eugene, Ore. - At 2:39 a.m. September 2, Eugene Police responded to a report of a shooting at 590 E. Broadway. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and the suspect left the location in a vehicle and is no longer in the area. Eugene Police Violent Crimes Unit is investigating. BREAKING NEWS:  BREAKING NEWS: JAISI TAVIN SAVAVATH was just booked into the Lane County Jail on the single charge of murder int he second degree. Homicide in Mapleton

Mapleton, Ore. - Today the Lane County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible homicide in the 9400 block of Hwy 126W.  ***UPDATE: Marsha Quesnell's case for murder is now pending due to fitness to proceed. In other words, the court has deemed her unable to help in her own defense due to mental illness or defect, at this time.*** The caller, Marsha Quesnell advised she had killed her mother Mona Tittle. When deputies arrived Marsha cooperated and was taken into custody without incident. Mona was located by deputies deceased inside the residence. Marsha Doreen Quesnell - 2020 mugshot Marsha was lodged at Lane County Adult Corrections this afternoon on the charge of murder.
