Crews Respond to Overnight Fire at The Public House Pub Restaurant



Springfield, Or. -  Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a fire at the Public House a popular pub and restaurant incubator in downtown Springfield early Tuesday morning. 

 A single engine was dispatched for a fire alarm at 3:40 AM.  Upon arrival the crew worked to survey the building for access and signs of fire.  Upon entering the building and encountering smoke a full fire response was requested.  The crews located a fire in the kitchen area that was slowed by an activated fire sprinkler.  

There was no significant damage to the structure and crews worked to clear smoke and water while the Fire Marshal’s began their investigation.
