Duck N Go Robbery Suspect Transferred to Jail

Eugene, Ore. - At 5:07 p.m. on October 27, Eugene Police received a report that a man entered the Duck N Go Market, located at 115 Commons Drive, drew a gun, and pointed it at the store clerk, while demanding money.  The store clerk, fearing for his life, shot the suspect. The store clerk called 911 and the suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Noah Alexander Sky  remained on scene until Eugene Police officers arrived. Officers provided medical aid while simultaneously taking Sky into custody. Sky was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment of his injuries. Subsequently,  Sky has been transported to the Lane County Jail on the charge of Robbery in the Second Degree. No other pending charges are anticipated in this case.  Oregon law states that deadly force is authorized if the actions of another person reasonably places you in fear of serious physical injury or death to you or a third party. Suspect Arrested on Warrant for Fatal 2022 Crash

Eugene, Ore. - At 12:30 p.m. on June 26, 2022, there was a fatal crash near 1082 Hwy 99N in Eugene, Lane County. Curtis Dewayne Smith , age 45, was driving significantly over the speed limit in a Dodge 2500 pickup truck north on HWY 99. Diane Marie Davis, age 62, was driving a Toyota RAV 4 with her adult daughter in the front passenger seat. They were leaving HWY 99 Cannabis at 1083 Hwy 99N. As Davis was turning south from the parking lot of the business, crossing the northbound lanes, she was struck on the driver side of her vehicle by Smith.  Davis subsequently died of her injuries. Her daughter was also injured. A passenger in Smith’s truck was also injured. The Lane County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and issued a warrant for Smith’s arrest. (Case 22-09654) An investigator checked on Smith’s location and he was listed as likely living in another state. Former Child Star of Home Improvement, Zachery Ty Bryan, Arrested on Suspicion of DUI in Oklahoma

Custer County, Ok. - On Oct. 25th, 2024, Zachery Ty Bryan, age 43, was stopped by Oklahoma Police for suspicion of DUI. After failing to pass a roadside sobriety test, Bryan was arrested, and later booked into the Custer County Oklahoma jail on felony DUI, and the charge of having no valid drivers license. According to court records, this is Bryan's 5th DUI. This is also Bryan's second felony DUII this year. Bryan was arrested earlier this year, on February 17th, for suspicion of felony DUI, and misdemeanor contempt of court, in La Quinta, California. Bryan is currently still on probation from his Oct. 25, 2023 guilty plea on a domestic violence charge of assault in the 4th degree in Lane County Circuit Court.
