Duck N Go Robbery Suspect Transferred to Jail



Eugene, Ore. - At 5:07 p.m. on October 27, Eugene Police received a report that a man entered the Duck N Go Market, located at 115 Commons Drive, drew a gun, and pointed it at the store clerk, while demanding money. 


The store clerk, fearing for his life, shot the suspect. The store clerk called 911 and the suspect, later identified as 21-year-old Noah Alexander Sky remained on scene until Eugene Police officers arrived. Officers provided medical aid while simultaneously taking Sky into custody. Sky was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment of his injuries. Subsequently, 

Sky has been transported to the Lane County Jail on the charge of Robbery in the Second Degree.

No other pending charges are anticipated in this case.  Oregon law states that deadly force is authorized if the actions of another person reasonably places you in fear of serious physical injury or death to you or a third party.

KEZI reported that the gun Sky used turned out to be a realistic-looking bb gun made to look like a Glock 19-style handgun. Link to their article here.
