Blue River Man Faces Child Sex Crime Charges in Two Oregon Counties



Eugene, OR – Michael Edward Sullivan, a 60-year-old lifelong resident of Blue River, was arrested and arraigned today in Lane County Circuit Court after an indictment and arrest warrant issued on January 7, 2026.

Sullivan faces 10 counts of Encouraging Child Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class B felony under Oregon law (ORS 163.684). Court records indicate the alleged offenses occurred between 2023 and 2025.

He was booked into the Lane County Jail and then transported to court, where he entered a plea of not guilty. His next court appearance in Lane County is scheduled for February 25, 2026. The case number is 26CR01253.
Sullivan is also facing charges in Clackamas County under case number 25CR22340: one count of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child in the Second Degree (ORS 163.432), a Class C felony, and one count of Luring a Minor (ORS 167.057), also a Class C felony. He was arrested in Clackamas County on April 22, 2025, and the charges were filed in court the same day. His next court appearance in Clackamas County is scheduled for February 9, 2026.
