Suspect in Feb. Hit and Run at Lane County Disabilities Services Arrested


Springfield, Or. - At 10:25 a.m., on February 16, a Eugene Police officer responded to a hit and run report at Lane County Disabilities Services, 2513 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. 

A female suspect had hit a Lane County Toyota Prius and a personal vehicle (Subaru Baja) parked at the location. She left the scene in a Toyota Camry. 

The investigating officer gathered the information provided on the vehicle and suspect and conducted further investigation, identifying Crystal Joyce Standish, age 45. 

Standish was contacted by Springfield Police on March 4 at 3:09 a.m. and the vehicle she was driving was listed as stolen out of Eugene, with an Attempt to Locate by EPD for the hit and run. The vehicle had been reported stolen by a friend of Standish on February 29 at 2:55 p.m.

Standish was charged with two counts of Hit and Run and two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Second degree for the hit and run case 24-02340, and Unlawful Use Vehicle for 24-03063 when lodged by SPD. There is no information available on the prostitution charge at this time.
