Springfield Police Blotter for Feb. 11, 2013. This is a sampling of police activity that occurred in Springfield during that time period, and not representative of all activity that occurred.

Monday, Feb. 11
12:29 a.m. – A male subject was reported to be picking up a stool and throwing it at people at RiverBend Hospital in the 3300 block of Riverbend Dr.
2:13 a.m. – Kristopher Wagner, 25, was arrested at Pioneer Parkway and I-105 on warrants for possession of heroin and methamphetamine; and resisting arrest. He also incurred new charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and felon in possession of a weapon. Jose Montes-Contreras, 22, was cited for driving while suspended.
3:53 a.m. – A resident in the 300 block of S. 42nd St reported a male subject was going through the garbage and throwing it everywhere. The caller said this happens every week. Police contacted a 31-year-old male subject at S. 42nd and Camellia Streets, and advised him concerning his activities.
7:56 a.m. – A GPS, radar detector and scanner were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the Eagles Lodge in the 1900 block of Main St.
9:21 a.m. – A male subject was observed walking into, then hiding in some bushes near Spring Valley Nursing Home in the 700 block of Harlow Rd. The subject reportedly removed parts from a bicycle and left the frame there. The subject was wearing black pants and a sweat jacket, with something white over his face.

9:28 a.m. – Brian Nunley, 41, was arrested on a warrant for theft at Game Farm and Harlow Roads.

10:23 a.m. – Police advised a 56-year-old male subject and a 49-year-old female subject about illegally camping inside an RV. The RV was parked at Don St. and Lochaven Ave.
11:05 a.m. – Melissa Kittell, 41, was arrested for driving while suspended in the 5700 block of Main St.
11:06 a.m. – An employee of the 76 station in the 4000 block of Main St. reported seeing two subjects smoking methamphetamine in a vacant lot across the street. The male subject was described as white, about 45 years of age, in a wheelchair with an orange vest tied to it. The subject had one leg and was wearing a black and white sweatshirt. The female subject was described as white, between 35-40 years of age, about 5’8” with a medium build, dark blonde hair and wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and jeans. The caller reported the subjects walked through the parking lot of the 76 station towards Main St. A third subject, male, joined the pair and all were engaged in a heated verbal confrontation. A short time later, all three subjects were observed hugging each other.
11:42 a.m. – A guest of the Crossland Extended Stay Apartments reported prescription medications were taken, and believed the cleaning staff was responsible.

12:08 p.m. – A caller reported two subjects in a verbal dispute at a residence in the 2000 block of L St. This location has previously been identified by police as a suspected drug house. The subjects were reported to be out in the street and banging on a fence. One of the subjects broke a gate. At this point, police are fielding several calls about this incident in progress. One subject is breaking boards out of a fence, yelling “Call the Cops.” A female subject known as “Mika” was kicked in the face by another female subject named Shanedra. Mika was crying, and started to walk towards 18th St, pulling a suitcase. Police arrested the following for disorderly conduct: Shanedra Eckley, 18; Mika Cooper, 18 and Sabrina Williams, 34.
1:00 p.m. – A woman who was involved in an automotive accident at 14th and Main Streets reported the other driver refused to give her name, and asked her not to call the police. The other driver left the scene. The caller reported smelling alcohol on the other driver’s breath. Police located and arrested Joy Webb, 48, for driving while suspended.
1:34 p.m. – Lauri Stevenson, 32, was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at 10th and Main Streets.
1:51 p.m. – Several young females consumed $40.30 worth of food and drink at Denny’s in the 900 block of Kruse Way, and left without paying. They left in a silver Toyota Prius. Police responded to the address the vehicle is registered to, but no one was there.
2:09 p.m. – Patrick Corn, 58, was cited for driving while suspended at I-105 and Mohawk Blvd.
4:37 p.m. – Two males 15 to 17 years of age were reported to be smoking a marijuana cigarette in a playground in the 5000 block of E Street.
6:13 p.m. – Two intoxicated male transients were to be sitting against a guard rail at the dead end of S. 54th St. Police did not locate the subjects.
6:55 p.m. – Lucille Collins, 31, was cited for driving while suspended in the 1200 block of Q St.
7:57 p.m. – An assault was reported at Motel 6 in the 3700 block of 3700 International Court.
9:43 p.m. – Marissa Mitchell, 21, was cited for driving while suspended at 16th and I St.

10:35 p.m. – A male subject came to the front counter of Springfield Police Department, stating he had some information about a wanted person from Los Angeles that had killed some officers. The subject was rambling about “Black Magic” and the “Mexican Mafia”, and also had an unleashed dog with him in the lobby. The subject continued talking, saying he reads the Mayan Code and can gaze into the water for reflections into the mirror to read into the future. Police arrested Daniel Hernandez Jr., 30, on a Junction City warrant for fourth-degree assault.
11:24 p.m. – Harold Hoffman, 43, was cited for driving while suspended in the 2400 block of Pheasant Blvd.
