Eugene Couple Counterfeiting Currency Arrested for Forgery
Eugene, Or. - On February 29, Eugene Police’s Street Crimes Unit served a search warrant with EPD SWAT, Drones, and CNT teams in the 3600 block of West 13th Avenue.
The search warrant was the culmination of a forgery investigation and evidence seized included forged U.S. currency, printers, and ink. Christian Ronald Batchelder, age 31, and Emma Joy Connelly, age 24, both Eugene residents, were arrested and lodged at the Lane County Jail on charges of Forgery in the First Degree. Betchelder also has the charge of 144.350 - PAROLE VIOLATION for assault on a PO.
