Fatal Pedestrian VS Vehicle Crash Beltline


Eugene, Or. - At 11:45 p.m. on February 16, Eugene Police and Eugene Springfield Fire responded to a pedestrian-vehicle crash on eastbound Beltline Hwy., near the I-5 exit. 

A motorhome’s driver reported they had been driving in the middle lane and hit a person in the roadway. The pedestrian is deceased and their identity is being withheld until family can be notified.

The motorhome’s driver stayed on scene and was cooperative. ODOT provided traffic control while EPD’s Major Collision Investigation team responded to the crash to investigate.
