Illegal Hash Oil Extraction Explosion Injures Two


Eugene, Or. -   Eugene Springfield Firefighters responses to an explosion at the 2-Bridges Homes For Good Location located at 599 E Broadway in Eugene Thursday Morning.  

At 07:05 AM, Firefighters responded for a fire alarm at the location.  On their arrival Firefighters found evidence of an explosion at the occupancy with two identified patients.  Two adults were evaluated and one transported to the hospital for burn injuries.  The explosion and fire activated the sprinkler system which extinguished the fire.  

An investigation determined the explosion was a result of illegal hash oil extraction.  A fire watch has been ordered while the sprinkler system is restored.  

No other occupants were injured or displaced.
