Eugene Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting, One Suspect Still at Large
EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene Police are actively investigating a shooting that occurred around 5:06 a.m. on September 3 near E. 30th Avenue and Spring Boulevard, prompting road closures and a significant law enforcement response. Authorities have advised the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
Police have conducted an extensive area search and canvassed the neighborhood. EPD stated that the incident appears to be an isolated event between two individuals, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. However, E. 30th Avenue will remain closed for the next couple of hours as officers continue their investigation.
