DV Investigation Uncovers Child Porn & 34lbs of Psilocybin Mushrooms



Springfield, Or. - In June of 2023, Springfield Police Department Officers began investigating Shawn Michael Wilder, age 34, in relation to Domestic Violence allegations. 

Thanks to the work of those involved, Wilder was arrested in October of 2023 for Assault APA, Menacing APA, and Coercion. 

Through the initial investigation, it was further discovered that Wilder was in possession of child pornography. Additionally, Wilder was found to be in possession of approximately 34 pounds of illicit psilocybin mushrooms. 

Wilder was manufacturing and delivering the illegal substances within 1000 feet of Springfield Elementary School. 

On February 22, 2024, Wilder was taken into custody without incident and lodged at the Lane County Jail for the charges listed below.

Encouraging Child Sex Abuse II

Manufacturing/Delivery of Controlled Substance I within 1000 ft of a School

Suspect Charged with Murder in 590 E. Broadway Shooting

Eugene, Ore. - At 2:39 a.m. September 2, Eugene Police responded to a report of a shooting at 590 E. Broadway. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and the suspect left the location in a vehicle and is no longer in the area. Homicide in Mapleton

Mapleton, Ore. - Today the Lane County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a possible homicide in the 9400 block of Hwy 126W.  ***UPDATE: Marsha Quesnell's case for murder is now pending due to fitness to proceed. In other words, the court has deemed her unable to help in her own defense due to mental illness or defect, at this time.*** The caller, Marsha Quesnell advised she had killed her mother Mona Tittle. When deputies arrived Marsha cooperated and was taken into custody without incident. Mona was located by deputies deceased inside the residence.
