SCU Makes Arrest and Seizes a Large Quantity of Fentanyl and Meth

Eugene, Or. - On June 13, during an ongoing investigation, SCU conducted surveillance of 30 year-old Eugene resident, Elise Lindey Olson, and observed her meet with her drug supplier. After that meeting, SCU contacted Olson and subsequently arrested her after seizing approximately 3.5 grams of fentanyl.

SCU Officers then immediately transitioned their investigation to her drug supplier, 29 year-old Sean Timothy Archer. Archer was stopped and detained shortly after leaving a residence in Springfield. Following a search warrant service on Archer’s car, SCU Officers seized approximately 50 grams of methamphetamine, two stolen handguns, body armor, and approximately 10 ounces of fentanyl, in both pill and powder form.

Of note, the wholesale value of an ounce of Fentanyl is approximately $1000. When broken into gram amounts for resale, this same ounce is worth approximately $1500. Thus the street level value of the fentanyl seized is approximately $15,000.

Pending charges include: Unlawful Delivery of a Schedule I Controlled Substance - Commercial Drug Offense, Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance - Felony, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine - Felony, Carrying a Concealed Firearm

Case 24-07950 and Case 24-08478
