Lane County Deputies Investigating Suspicious Deaths in Mohawk Valley
MOHAWK VALLEY, Ore. – Lane County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the deaths of two people found at a residence on McGowan Creek Road on Sunday afternoon.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded to the home in the 36000 block of McGowan Creek Road shortly after 3 p.m. after a caller reported finding people they believed were deceased. Fire personnel arrived on the scene and confirmed that two adults had died.
A third person was found at the location and detained as part of the ongoing investigation, authorities said. Officials do not believe there is any continued threat to the community.
The investigation remains in its early stages, and authorities have not released details about the cause of death or the identities of those involved.
