Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Man for Trespassing in Jasper Lowell



Springfield, Or. - On June 1, 2025, Lane County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a trespassing report in the 38000 block of Jasper Lowell Road

The suspect, identified as Jimmy Lastchance Butler, 33, fled the scene, prompting deputies to call for additional resources. Butler was found hiding in nearby brush and complied with deputies’ commands. After medical clearance, he was booked into the Lane County Adult Corrections Facility on charges of second-degree criminal trespass (two counts), providing false information to a police officer, interfering with a peace officer, and two outstanding Eugene Municipal Court warrants.
