Eugene Police Arrest Wanted Nevada Woman After License Plate Reader Alert

EUGENE, Ore. — On July 23 at 6:57 p.m., Eugene Police arrested 49-year-old Kristi Lee Loewe, a wanted fugitive from Humboldt County, Nevada, on the 3000 block of N. Delta Highway. Loewe was sought for failing to appear on home invasion charges stemming from an incident in Winnemucca.
The arrest followed a hit from the Eugene Police Department’s License Plate Reader system near Crescent Avenue, which flagged Loewe’s vehicle due to her felony-level warrant in the National Criminal Information Center. A detective confirmed Loewe matched the warrant’s description and photo before patrol officers conducted a traffic stop, taking her into custody without incident.
In addition to the Nevada warrant, Loewe had outstanding warrants for DUII, reckless driving, and a failure to appear citation from Coos County. She was transported to Lane County Jail, booked as a fugitive from justice, and cited for the Coos County warrants.
