Eugene, Ore. – 35-year-old Kerry Michael Diamond was arrested today by Eugene Police on charges stemming from new incidents. Diamond faces the following probable cause charges:

Diamond was arrested for Public Indecency, and during the investigation, detectives discovered social media posts suggesting there could be other victims.
DIAMOND - 2024 |
The 2024 case, involves behavior such as exposing himself to women and children, propositioning women for sex in exchange for money, and engaging in public masturbation. Investigators have asked anyone who may have witnessed similar behavior or been victimized to come forward.
A series of disturbing incidents involving a man in a van led to the arrest of 35-year-old Kerry Michael Diamond on January 22. Diamond now faces several charges after being involved in multiple harassment and assault incidents across the city.
At approximately 8:32 a.m., Eugene Police responded to a call from the Dari Mart at 111 West 1st Avenue. The victim reported that a man had aggressively asked her for sex and groped her. After being told to leave the store, the suspect moved his van outside and continued to stare toward the victim.
Then, just 27 minutes later, police were dispatched to a second incident at E. 18th Avenue and Patterson Street, where a woman reported being chased by a man who had threatened to kill her. The woman ran into traffic in an attempt to escape and was assisted by bystanders who gave her an emergency ride. Authorities quickly connected the suspect in this case to the earlier report from Monroe Street, where a woman had been groped by a man in a van who then fled the scene.
As police continued their investigation, they discovered an additional incident. A woman reported to 911 that she had been flagged down by another woman running with two dogs. The woman claimed that a man matching Diamond's description had approached her and demanded that she release her dogs. When she refused, the man exited his van and began chasing her. Thankfully, a bystander called for help, and the woman later contacted police to report the encounter.
Diamond was arrested without incident near W. 18th Avenue and Chambers Street and was booked into the Lane County Jail. He faces charges of Sex Abuse in the Third Degree, three counts of Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree, and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue to review these cases, and Diamond’s actions may be connected to other incidents in the area. His case is being investigated under Case Numbers 25-01210 and 25-01213.
Eugene Police are urging anyone with additional information about either case to contact them.
The investigation remains ongoing as both cases are separate and actively pursued by law enforcement.
