Shots Fired in Eugene Juvenile Dispute, Police Seek Armed Suspect



EUGENE, Ore. — On May 29, 2025, at 11:39 a.m., Eugene Police responded to a disturbance involving a group of juveniles at Hawaiian Time restaurant on 2080 River Road.

Witnesses reported that one juvenile was armed with a firearm and fired shots into the air, prompting a swift response from multiple police units.

Nearby North Eugene High School was notified and advised to implement security measures as a precaution while police searched for suspects. Several juveniles were contacted during the ongoing investigation, but the individual allegedly wielding the firearm has not yet been located.


The case, numbered 25-08575, remains under active investigation as authorities work to identify and apprehend the armed suspect.
