Spokane Man Arrested on Drug and Firearm Charges
JUNCTION CITY, Ore. — A routine suspicious vehicle call led to the arrest of 45-year-old John Robert Prince of Spokane on May 24, 2025, after Lane County Sheriff’s deputies and Junction City Police uncovered drugs and firearms in his vehicle.
Around 9 p.m., deputies responded to the 1700 block of Ivy Street to assist Junction City Police. Officers determined Prince, the driver, was under the influence of drugs and arrested him for DUII. A search of the vehicle, aided by LCSO’s drug detection K9 Bear, revealed over 200 grams of cocaine, more than 50 grams of methamphetamine pills, drug packaging materials, a scale with residue, $2,000 in cash, and two 9mm handguns—one reported stolen.
Prince was booked into Lane County Jail on felony charges, including unlawful possession, manufacture, and delivery of cocaine, carrying a concealed firearm, first-degree theft, and felon in possession of a firearm. LCSO Case #25-2449
