Three-Vehicle Crash in Eugene Injures Multiple, Driver Cited for DUII



EUGENE, Ore. — A three-vehicle collision at 4664 Barger Drive left multiple people injured and led to a DUII citation, Eugene Police reported. The crash, involving a Mazda CS50, Toyota Camry, and Kia Soul, occurred at 4:50 p.m. on May 8, prompting a response from Eugene Springfield Fire medics.

Amy Elizabeth Sundquist, 48, of Noti, the driver of the Kia Soul, was treated for injuries at a local hospital and cited for DUII and Reckless Driving. The Mazda’s driver, a 59-year-old woman, and passenger, a 22-year-old man, were also hospitalized. 

Barger Drive was closed in both directions until 6:17 p.m., causing temporary traffic disruptions.
