Sheriff’s Office Busts Illegal Marijuana Operation Across Lane County

EUGENE, Ore. — On April 3, 2025, Lane County Sheriff's detectives and deputies executed search warrants at multiple locations, uncovering a sprawling illegal marijuana operation tied to a business called Agricola. The raids targeted a greenhouse and residence in the 40300 block of Reuben Leigh, north of Lowell; a warehouse in the 1400 block of N. 32nd Street, Springfield; a warehouse in the 4200 block of W. 7th Avenue, Eugene; a warehouse in the 600 block of Commercial Street, Eugene; a warehouse in the 200 block of E. Palmer Avenue, Cottage Grove; and a planned dispensary in the 1600 block of Main Street, Springfield.

The investigation kicked off after the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) flagged Agricola for operating well beyond legal limits, including issues with plant tracking, product location, and growing at unlicensed sites. While some locations held licenses, they failed to meet state operating requirements.

Authorities seized 10,700 marijuana plants and hundreds of pounds of processed marijuana and products during the searches. Several individuals were contacted, with potential charges now under review by the Lane County District Attorney’s Office. The operation also uncovered code violations, prompting follow-ups by the Lane County Code Compliance Program and Oregon Watermaster.

The Sheriff’s Office received assistance from the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team, Drug Enforcement Administration, OLCC, Oregon Watermaster, and Lane County Code Compliance Program. Funding from the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission’s Illegal Marijuana Market Grant, established in 2018, made the investigation possible.

The investigation remains ongoing, and additional details may be released later. Anyone with information is urged to call 541-682-4141, referencing case #25-1547.
